Ending Digital Abuse

What is T.E.A.R?

Technology, Education Advocacy & Resource center was created to help domestic violence, family violence and initmate partner violence who are experiencing TFA.

TEAR Center (Technology Education, Advocacy & Resources) can serve as a collaborative hub where survivors, first responders, advocates, and community partners work together to identify, prevent, and respond to technology-facilitated abuse (TFA). TFA includes behaviors such as cyberstalking, digital harassment, doxing, revenge porn, and the misuse of smart devices or tracking technologies to control or monitor victims.

Purpose

T.E.A.R. was created to raise awareness about the growing threat of technology-facilitated abuse and to offer trauma-informed tools, knowledge, and support to those most impacted—survivors of domestic violence and technology-facilitated abuse (TFA).

Responding to technology-facilitated abuse requires awareness, training, and coordinated support across communities. Survivors benefit from resources that address both their physical safety and their digital security. Education, prevention, and strong support networks can help reduce harm and empower survivors to regain control of their digital lives.
